Andrew Stoll, an Amish builder in Manton, Michigan, has been building small sheds and out buildings for some time. Recently he decided to add some extra dimension to the otherwise utilitarian structures. It's the eye catching porch and front door that give some backyard appeal to this tiny house. First viewed at Dave Pahl's Feeds & Needs on M-115 south of Traverse City, Michigan, (231-269-4400), it was Dave who provided the name of the builder. In Michigan, being described as an "Amish Builder" is a compliment. The Amish are known for their craftsmanship and fairness. The interior shots in frames 5 and 6 show the type of materials used inside. Structures sold by Andrew Stoll are built to specification. He was happy to consider any kind of custom feature. For example, Andrew was asked if the space holding the overhead door entrance could be built as windows above desk space. He quickly agreed such a design would work. This porch model, as shown, would retail for approximately $4,500. Delivery and set-up charges would have to be worked out according to destination.
