The ML Avenue house is located in Kalamazoo County in Michigan. It's part of a farm business which features pumpkins, apples and cider during the autumn months. The tiny house is used for the sale of crafts during the tourist season. Not only does it have the proportions and size which make it appealing, but this little building has its own dedicated garden surrounded by a white pickett fence. The wood frame construction is sided with narrow clapboards and freshly painted with the same barn-red used on many other structures on the property. The large tree on its south side may be a mixed blessing. The house is shaded during midday and late afternoon, but the patched roof may be a result of debris falling from the tree, especially during storms. Its appearance suggests a long life, probably starting off as something other than a crafts barn, but it is now well cared for. |
