The McDonald house is located on the Kitsap Peninsula in Washington State. It is in daily use as an office. With glass on all sides, its single room receives any available sunshine, and the occupants can enjoy views of the beautiful property on which it stands. The shallow pitch of the roof is economical in the use of materials and is appropriate for the small amount of snow which falls in that part of the northwest. The overhang above the door reflects the need for protection from the frequent rain. This office/cabin allows privacy and convenience. It is located just steps away from the back door to the main house. | |||||||
