Here they are, vintage tiny houses, only brand new.

These five classic examples of everything that's good about tiny houses stand next to a big-sister hotel at the end of the main street in Port Townsend, Washington. In the summer they are tourist cottages; in winter they are rented for the season to school teachers and others who winter over. (Note the individual electric meters in the third image.)

The floor plan is divided lengthwise down the center. To the right is the private bath; to the left is the sitting and sleeping area beneath the sky light. There's a window at each end, but for privacy, there are no windows on the side.

Note the three story hotel behind the cabin in image two. This one cabin, probably the first to be built, opens onto the main street; the other four open onto the hotel parking lot.

The cabins are modest but built to last.
