In the words of the owners:

"Our small guest cabin was built around 1905 and has a stone fireplace, deck overlooking the water, books to read plus the more modern distractions of Cable TV, DVD and stereo, but mostly lots of privacy."

The main house was built twenty years after the guest house!

The light you see on the left hand image is the sun rising over Puget Sound. The deck (see external views) looks directly at the water with a view of Seattle to the south. On a clear day, Mt. Ranier dominates the southern view.

The cabin has an in-line floorplan: entering at the center you are in the library; to the left is the living room with fireplace, aforementioned media and a door to the deck; to the right is the bedroom and bathroom. If there were a website for "TinyBathrooms", this one would be on the home page!

Sunrise acre is home to many exotic birds. Note the classic aviary next to the front steps. It's one of many on the property, large and small.
