Port Gamble represents one of the few remaining examples of company towns, thousands of which were built in the nineteenth century by industrialists to house employees. These two water towers greet visitors entering town along Washington State Route 104. Photos are provided by Kitsap Images of Suquamish, WA. Virtual visits are at Port Gamble's website. | |||||
